EDUCATION AND TRAINING RISK ADVISORIES

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Virginia Risk Control Institute (VRCI)

If you are lacking formal training in risk management or loss control, consider VRCI.

VRCI is a series of courses offered through Virginia Commonwealth University by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Risk Management and Department of Human Resource Management, Office of Workers' Compensation. Two learning tracks are offered through VRCI.

  •  The Risk Control Certificate track consists of courses designed to assist state agencies to better control workplace accidents, injuries, and occupational health.

  • The Risk Management Certificate program is for agency administrators who wish to learn more about reducing injuries and illnesses and controlling other sources of agency losses.

For a schedule of classes, an application or additional information about VRCI, click  http://www.dhrm.state.va.us/workerscomp/riskcontrolinstitute.html
